My eyes--I don't mind them
For I am behind them
It's the people in front...

I like them but that pic makes you look a little sad. They are much more lovely when matched with your smile.

Well.

Fitter words have rarely been spoken.

Eyes are interesting. Atleast I always thought so. You have large eys. And you are right, a very nice shade of blue.

And blue eyes go really nice with blonde hair. Although, I find blue eyed brunettes handsome. And brown eyed blondes to handsome as well. I dunno... I always thought that the more you get to know a lady, if she has a good personality, the more beautiful she becomes. Hence close married couples in their 90's think each other are the most handsome human on earth. Even though other people see wrinkled prunes.

That's my take on it.

PL, I like your eyes...

Not one of your more flattering photos, I have to say. In real life, you don't look as old and your eyebrows don't look nearly so much like they need waxing.

Not that I believe in messing around with eyebrows. I had one girl at an opening -- a friend of a friend -- who suggested I needed to have my eyebrows separated. She actually touched the bridge of my nose -- she petted it like a ferret! I hate being touched.

I agree with Bill Maher: "New Rule: Ladies, leave your eyebrows alone. Here's how much men care about your eyebrows: do you have two of them? Okay, we're done."

On another note: The last time you mentioned how it's a day's work just looking into your eyes, I was tempted to comment, but now that it's back, I can't hold back. Has it occurred to you it's a day's work looking into your eyes because of the depths of craziness in there?

Thank you Chris for that confirmation. My first thought was "the Lady wasn't kidding about what that grant application took out of her."

But not crazy. There's a quiet soulful intensity...that I find both hard to resist and hard to meet.

Knocked me right off my perch, they did. :-)

The JPEG is also heavily compressed, which doesn't do the Lady any favors. Compress a JPEG enough and anyone starts to look like Marty Feldman.

If I have my camera next time I see her, I'll try and get a better photo.

Chris, are you on the rag, or something?

I was asked for a photo of my eyes, and I took this request literally. Perhaps I should have cropped the eyebrows entirely.

And you, of all people, should know that it's not craziness. It's just activation of the fifth neurosomatic circuit. Since you're stuck in the third, with frequent craterings into the first, technically you're considerably crazier than I.

Oh, I was just playing around. You get too much worshipping. I'm just trying to even things out.

Ha! A likely story. Come to heel, minion.

No mercy next time, Caterpillar Face.

LOL @ Caterpillar Face

Secondly, I admire a woman who isn't obsessed with waxing/tweezing her brows to death.

I, brow-less one, envy you :)

Yes, I'm a week behind the fair; would like to say that is a serious amount of blue. The difficulty of looking into them lies where? Why, in the beholder, of course!
