A Correction

To the Blogging Community at Large:

The word "loose" is pronounced "lewss" and means 'to release' or 'not fastened tightly.'

The word "lose" is pronounced "looz" and means 'to miss from one's possession; mislay' or 'to bring to destruction.'

Please stop using the one when you mean the other.

Thank you.

Closer (to my life's goals)

Closer ("He made the sale! Woo hoo!")

Closure ("I am at peace with what has gone before.")

Those sneaky sibilants shall silkily slide us surely towards uncertainty.

Using "loose" for "lose" is one thing I cannot stand. Makes me loose my shit, it does. And lose it, too.

I find myself at a loss. May I loose my mind in order to lose myself in the new freedom? =D

I also hate the misuse of "your" and "you're", which is endemic on blogs. And if the blog author routinely misuses "to" and "too", I simply dismiss him/her with regards to serious discourse.
